Perhaps you have driven the Trans Canada Highway between Kenora and Winnipeg and wondered what all the yellow liquid was in the discarded plastic bottles was.
Well it’s URINE…the semi trailer drivers urinate in bottles while driving down the highway and then throw the urine bottles onto the highway.
When I first heard of this practice I was disgusted that someone would throw urine onto the highway…but then I realized that these truckers were endangering other users of the highway.
Presumably it takes two hands to pee into a bottle and considerable had eye coordination if you don’t want urine spilt…that means that the driver of the semi trailer does not have his hands on the steering wheel nor his eyes on the road. The consequences of a semi trailer going out of control because the drivers are too lazy to stop their truck to urinate are just beyond comprehension.
I have to wonder if many of the semi trailer related accidents are caused because the driver was urinating instead of driving?
